Assignment 0.2 | Haptic Modeling

Part I | Modeling
Part II | Photo Capture of Haptic Models
Proceed to photograph your models. Document the model and obtain design rich (i.e. charged with layered spatial potential) images. Obtain enough pictures to allow for multiple readings of the model. Unexpected views often are the most rewarding. Avoid easy and obvious takes. Photograph these models on different settings, in different lighting and avoid grounding the model in space.
Capture digitally several images (at least 15 per model) that you find searching for tectonics, light and space. Keep all images on a library on your computer and load six of your best images onto your blog.

Weekly Blog
Every student will create a blog on blogger.com. This will be your own catalog for submission in a weekly journal. You are to submit one hand drawn sketch and two other entries (3 minimum) every week throughout the semester. These entries could be links to websites, inspiring images (document your sources) or any material that you find important relating to film and digital media. A written component to each entry should be included documenting why this is important to your education both in this class and in this program.
This will be due Monday of the incoming week throughout the semester.
* this is to be an academic (not personal) blog. All students will maintain the highest ethical standards in their blog. Any misuse (see ITS computer usage policy) will be cause for withdrawal from class.
